Our Many Branches

The Baugus branch of our family tree extends all the way back to England in the mid 1500's. While not much is known of their time in England, the Baugus name goes back much further and I'm sure in time I will find other ancestors of this branch.

 

The Baugus' were among some of the early settlers of this country, calling early Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina their home for decades. They would have friendships and kinship's with some of this country's "founding fathers" and they can stake claim that they too were some of this country's original settlers.

 

Their influence and prominence is well documented and as of this writing I've accounted for at least 13 generations of Baugus'. There are a few accounts that I can't thoroughly explain but I've done my best with the information available.
